Pressure versus soft wash
High pressure is right for concrete and some masonry, where it lifts dirt, red clay stains and mildew out of the surface. It is wrong for vinyl siding, painted trim, screens and soft wood, where it can force water behind siding, strip paint or raise the grain. For those we use a low-pressure soft wash with cleaners that kill mildew and algae and rinse clean. We match the method to every surface on the estimate.
