Leaf removal · Fall cleanup
Leaf removal and fall cleanupdone in one visit, not three weekends.
We clear leaves from the lawn, beds, fence lines and hard surfaces, then haul them off or mulch them in, depending on what your property and your town allow. Based in Indian Land, SC and working across south Charlotte, Union County and York County.
Short answer: Prime Landscaping & Lighting does one-time and repeat leaf cleanups from late October through December. Every cleanup is quoted free and individually, because the price depends on your trees, lot size, beds and haul-off, not on a package.

What a full fall cleanup includes
- Leaves blown and vacuumed off the lawn so the grass is not smothered over winter
- Beds, shrub bases and foundation plantings cleaned out by hand where blowers cannot reach
- Fence lines, corners, decks, patios, walks and driveway cleared
- Leaves hauled away, bagged for curbside, or mulched back into the lawn, your choice where it makes sense
- Final blow-off of hard surfaces so the place looks finished
- Optional add-ons quoted in the same visit: bed edging, pine straw or mulch refresh, shrub cutbacks
One cleanup or a fall schedule?
Around Charlotte, maples and sweetgums drop first, usually late October into November. The big oaks, including the willow oaks and water oaks common in older neighborhoods, often hold leaves into December. If your lot is heavily wooded, two or three visits keep the lawn from matting and make each one faster. If you have a few trees, one cleanup after most leaves are down is usually the best value. We will tell you which makes sense when we quote it.
Haul-off, bagging or mulching
Curbside yard waste rules differ by town, county and HOA, and some areas in Lancaster County, SC and unincorporated Union County, NC have no curbside leaf pickup at all. We quote the option that fits your address: full haul-away, bagging for your hauler, or mulching light leaf cover back into the turf, which returns nutrients to the soil. Check your HOA rules before piling leaves at the street, and we can work around them.
Pair it with your holiday lights
Many of our customers book their fall cleanup and Christmas light installation together in November. One crew, one trip, and your yard and roofline both look finished for Thanksgiving. Ask for both on the same quote.

Leaf Removal & Fall Cleanup questions
How much does leaf removal cost?
We do not publish prices because every property is different. The quote depends on how many trees you have, lot size, how many beds need hand cleaning, slope and access, and whether leaves are hauled away. The quote is free and in writing.
When should I schedule leaf removal near Charlotte?
For most yards, mid to late November catches the bulk of the drop. Heavily wooded lots with oaks often need a second visit in December. Book in October to get the dates you want.
Do you haul the leaves away?
Yes, if you want. We can also bag them for curbside pickup where your town allows it, or mulch light cover back into the lawn.
Do you clean leaves out of flower beds and shrubs?
Yes. Beds and shrub bases are cleaned by hand where needed so we do not blow out mulch or damage plants.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Prime Landscaping & Lighting is licensed and insured.
Do you do one-time cleanups or only contracts?
Both. One-time cleanups are common. If you want a fall schedule, we will quote the visits together.
